College > Universities Choosing a university is never an easy task. The sheer number of universities out there is staggering and wading through all the rankings and advice about which program is best can be overwhelming to say the least!
Though the variety of university programs is vast most universities tend to be slightly larger than liberal arts colleges and can include large class sizes and specific core requirements before you declare your major.
Once you determine the university or universities that you believe fit your needs then comes the application process. Many colleges and universities use the Common Application, which standardizes the application for member schools and provides simple online and print versions of the application simplifying the application process for first year and transfer students who are applying to multiple schools that are members.
Though this helps ease the application process significantly many schools have supplementary requirements and this is where the essay comes into play. Ivy Eyes editors are experienced writing coaches that understand the application process from start to finish and can help refine your personal statement or admission essay, whether you’re just starting out or you just need that quick polish before you submit.
IVY EYES QUICK FACT
There are currently 414 member colleges and universitites that use the Common Application, including Columbia, Stanford, Rice, Amherst, Middlebury, and Yale!
