Conservatories offer a unique opportunity for the undergraduate, allowing you to focus solely on your art. There are a variety of programs that offer intensive concentrations in Music, Dance, Visual Art and Theater and each program has its’ challenges when it comes to admissions. Often each school will require different supplemental information when it comes to your application requiring you to tailor your application to each program.

And why shouldn’t you? Each program has a different methodology and is looking for applicants that fit their ideal student. So how do you juggle all these different programs asking different questions? If you’re serious about getting into one of these prestigious programs it’s going to take some hard work. Though Ivy Eyes can’t audition for you we can certainly give your personal essay or resume the polish and focus it needs to get you noticed during the application process. Sometimes an applicants essay is the deciding factor for prospective students at similar skill levels.

They are Boston Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music, Eastman School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Mannes College/New School for Music, New England Conservatory of Music, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and San Francisco Conservatory of Music. But most have supplements so you will still need to polish those essays, and maybe write a few different ones!
